Ingredients

100 g rajma ( kidney beans )
350 g milk
2 tablespoon condensed milk
½ g saffron
40 g almonds
10 g pistachio
10g raisins
3 tablespoon sugar
For garnishing
1 sheet silver varak
Almonds and pistachios are for garnishing

Method

Soak rajma overnight. Pressure cook till done.

Drain the water. Boil with milk till the beans are fully cooked. Mash slightly.

Blanch almonds. Remove peel and puree fine adding little water. Add to the above.

Once the mixture has been reduced to a thick consistency , add condensed milk , saffron ( boiled in little milk ) , sliced pistachio , raisins and sugar.

Cool the kheer. Refrigerate for a while.

Serve chilled. Garnished with silver varak, sliced almonds and pistachios.
